Adventures in Global Tutoring with Ms. Mack
Most of my students call me Ms. Mack. I've spent time teaching both here and abroad. Spending nine months in Seattle teaching high school, left me three months to cover the whole of France with students. My life experiences augment the subjects I teach, this makes my classroom a center for real life adventure. I've a great love and respect for history and culture. ADD/ADHD
While Director of Learning at a Boys and Girls Club, I tested and assessed ADD/ADHD students. I am a certified special needs tutor. With one on one tutoring I was quite successful getting students to focus on their studies.
Aspergers
I am a Certified Special Needs tutor. As such, I have qualifications in testing and assessing special needs. Currently, I tutor (one one one) an Aspergers student who has been with me for six years. This student received one of the highest grade averages in his junior class in June (2014). When I first started working with him, he didn't read well and/or write. I'm very proud of his improved social skills as well as his academic acumen.
