The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a test to place potential service men and women in the military. I have tutored it for years and work out of The Kaplan Manual. The best way to prepare is through repeated study of the practice tests. I try to be patient, to work with care, and to exchange them with question, and to listen.

My grandson met with Tom for 5 days and around 2 hours per day for Algebra. Tom went through his school book and brought him up to where he is when he goes back after Christmas break. Two hours per day for a 15 year old is hard and Tom handled it very well. I hope Algebra will be easier for him once he is back to school. We will follow up with Tom after school starts.
