I am a certified elementary teacher K-6th grade. I have worked in the field of education for the past 20+ years with experience working with a wide variety of learning needs. In addition to tutoring students in areas needing review and relearning, I also work with students who desire enrichment. I make learning fun using games and interactive, hands-on activities. During my 10+ years teaching in an elementary classroom and 3 years tutoring, I have taught many students who had an ADD/ADHD diagnosis. I was so good with these children in the classroom that those students were specially placed in my room. I offered them the right balance of structure and flexibility as well as deeply engaging and motivating lessons.
