What I love most about her teaching style is that she is able to bring aspects of Spanish language culture into her grammatical explanations. She also has a way of explaining the grammar that makes it easy to understand and learn.

Giovanna is a great tutor who takes the time to outline your objectives and goals for learning Spanish, then tailors lesson plans specifically to fit your needs. I had a very specific event coming up for which I needed to learn Spanish phrases and Giovanna walked me through possible scenarios and we discussed in-depth my responses in Spanish and how to conjugate in future, present and past tenses. Giovanna gave me the correct way to respond to my scenario based on cultural, gender, and age contexts. I was a little hesitant to be tutored via Skype, but it actually worked great. I was able to study in the comfort of my own home at a time that was convenient for me, and Giovanna always had a transcript of our lesson in my email within 30 minutes after our lesson was completed. I highly recommend Giovanna as an excellent Spanish tutor.
