Working in small groups or one on one with children has taught me that children thrive and learn with that more focused attention. I love to learn myself and when I see connections made in a student's mind, I know I have done my job and it is a great feeling. I believe it is important to have a lot of trust between teacher and student and a level of comfort and challenge.
