She took a lot of time at the beginning of our lessons to understand my goals and current level, so she's planned my lessons around these. During our classes, a lot of skills are incorporated: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This has helped a lot as I feel I'm learning Chinese at an even rate, and not struggling in one of these areas. She's also helped me a lot by giving me homework for the week. She carefully thinks about what areas I've stumbled in during our lessons, and makes activities/assignments accordingly to help me improve.
