Mel has multiple degrees such as a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Fine Arts on Creative Writing. Mel also has a year’s worth of experience working towards a PhD at Georgia State University. As a graduate student, Mel worked in the writing center at GSU, as well as worked as a college instructor and high school teacher. Mel currently teaches high school English.
