I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During my final year I became a mentor to first year students through the Collegiate Success Institute and tutor in Math and Spanish. I enjoyed it so much I passed on a career as an engineer to become a teacher giving classes in Math, Science, and Spanish.
